In response to Richard Colvin’s allegations that prisoners turned over to the Afghan army by the Canadian military have been tortured, Canada’s Tory government is attacking Colvin’s credibility. They reject Opposition calls for a public inquiry. Yet, if this is really happening, then the Canadian government is complicit in war crimes. What do you think – should there be a public inquiry into these allegations?
My view:
How typical of the Tories to trot out their lame, old ‘attack campaign’ strategy for dealing with serious issues; it’s long past time for these right wing-nuts to give their heads a shake - if they are so sure nothing happened, then why are they so afraid to see a full, frank, and open investigation take place?

Should Peter McKay resign?
November 25, 2009 by Faye Hicks
CBC confirmed today that Richard Colvin’s allegations of prisoner torture were reported directly to Peter McKay’s office… twice… years ago. McKay continues to deny this. What do you think – should Peter McKay be required to resign?
My view:
Something smells, and Ithink it’s this government – they should all resign or we should give them the boot!
